Kuester Trucking was established in 1981 by Gary and Donna Kuester. From 1981 to 1999 the company specialized in heavy hauling which Gary & Donna operated. Gary also had a cattle farm and Donna was an elementary teacher and mother of 2.
Jason always dreamed of owning his own ‘big rig’ and hauling cattle since he was a young boy. He loved when the trucks would come to their home and pick up cattle. Around 1999 Jason started hauling cattle with his dad, they started with a 1 tonne Dodge and stock trailer, slowly moving up to 1 semi and liner. Soon there was interest for others to lease on and Gary wanted to drive less and focus more on the farm. Donna looked after the office work and Jason looked after dispatching and driving.
In 2006 Jason married Amber, and they bought the family farm from Gary and Donna and built a shop large enough to handle semi’s and liner’s (no more washing and maintaining outside below zero!!). Jason and Amber have 3 children, Hayez & Gage, twin boys and a girl, Sydney.
Life is busy for everyone, now with usually half a dozen unit’s on the road starting a family and farm. In March of 2015 Donna suffered from a stroke and is well on the mend, but since then Jason and Amber have taken over the company and trying their best to maintain a ‘family’ business.
